moon-shot-feature-photoIn what is good news for all people in the cancer battle now and for those in the future, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center has recently received a donation of $50 million. The donor’s name is Lyda Hill and she’s pledged the funds to MD Anderson’s Moon Shots Program, an ambitious effort by one of America’s premiere cancer centers to dramatically accelerate the end of cancer.

Team Julia is thrilled for the generosity and dedication of people like Lyda Hill. It’s encouraging to see such significant amounts of money going to such important work. May this infusion of funding serve as hopeful gusts of wind, pushing MD Anderson’s efforts forward. For the end of cancer.
